New Driving Test Based On GTA 4

Rumor has it that a new European driving test will be based upon on the best selling Grand Theft Auto 4 game. The driving test is to be introduced in the United Kingdom early next year. This shocking move by the UK based Driving Standards Agency is apparently an attempt to update new drivers with the skills they will need on 21st century roads.

The changes to the outdated driving test are planned to be phased in during Spring 2009. Gone are the tests such as reversing around a corner and parallel parking. They are being replaced with more up to date tests such as flipping off other road users and the emergency donut turn.

Collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, street signs, buildings, and other objects will no longer mean failing the test. Passing manouveres such as the "ram & grab" will automatically mean that participants pass the test.

All drivers will also be required to undergo basic weapons training in order to pass the new test. New drivers must be able to demonstrate their drive by shooting skills and rocket launcher control.
